'09 Subaru Forester Promotion
The Subaru brand's marketing strategy is a "grass roots" style...community events, festivals, garden shows, sponsoring marathons or bicycle rides/races, etc. This is especially true when marketing the new Forester vehicle - their customer base has come to DEMAND it. The objective was to create a promotional item to cost-effectively reach this audience while keeping with their "tree-hugger" sense of purpose.
After exploring paper cards embedded with seeds that can be planted instead of throwing them out, Subaru still wanted something more unique and interactive. Instead we created a custom "java jacket" from the same seed paper. It's inexpensive, reusable, a completely new item and it really grows flowers.
